About Andrea
I have been a creator of beautiful, handmade jewelry for over 30 years. A master jeweler, I recently spent ten years in NYC studying under experts from all over the world, developing my skills and honing my craft.
While I have experience with many mediums, my passion lies in bead embroidery, the creation of intricate and unique designs that bring a sense of depth and dimension to each piece of jewelry.
I take pride in creating high-quality, one-of-a-kind pieces that are both comfortable and stylish. I use only the finest materials, including gemstones, Swarovski crystals and pearls, and Japanese seed beads, and stitch them onto thick wool felt and then build up. This creates a range of textures and colors that bring each three-dimensional piece to life.
Involvement & Community Work
I served on the Board of Directors for the Paradise Center for the Arts during the 2024–2025 term, helping guide strategic planning and support local programming.
I'm one of the organizers of the Fine Craft Collective, a seasonal pop-up gallery that brings together regional makers for curated holiday shopping events.
I currently help with financial coordination for the Straight River Art Festival, a one-day, juried annual arts festival in Faribault, Minnesota.
I also support creative professionals and nonprofit organizations through my work as a CPA, with a focus on financial systems, internal controls, and audit readiness.
I believe that jewelry is an extension of our personalities and a way to express ourselves.

My Design Process
My design begins with a beautiful gemstone or other unique focal piece. I use my collection of crystals, pearls, beads and embroidery supplies to add interesting elements that accentuate the focal. I incorporate different textures and finishes to give each piece a rich sense of depth and movement.
I use bead embroidery, which involves stitching beads onto thick wool felt, to create intricate designs with a level of detail that is hard to achieve with other techniques. Each piece is made by hand and typically takes between 10-20 hours, resulting in jewelry that is both beautiful and durable.
After a piece is completed, I inspect it thoroughly to ensure that it meets my high standards. I want my customers to feel confident and beautiful when they wear my jewelry, so quality is always my top priority.
